Website redesign that plans
for the search traffic
you already have
Your site looks dated, but Google already knows it. We map every page and every old address before we design anything, so you keep what is working.
Tell us about your project, and we reply with next steps. No cost, no obligation.
- A page plan and an address map before launch
- Your domain and accounts in your name
We do not promise rankings, traffic or sales.

Is a redesign the right fix?
Your site is dated, slow or hard to update, but some pages still earn visits and you do not want to start from zero.
Not sure a redesign is what you need? We find the cause first. If the problem is an unclear offer, a broken form or weak search work, we say so and recommend that instead.
Moving from another platform to Shopify? The same plan covers it. Shopify stores
Every page gets a decision
We find what is holding the site back before we choose a look. Then each page gets one of four decisions.
Keep.
Still valuable. It stays as it is.
Improve.
Same subject, stronger content.
Merge.
Related pages come together on one page.
Retire.
The page is old or no longer true, and leaves.
Keep.
Improve.
Merge.
Retire.
You see the plan and agree it before design starts.
Your old addresses lead somewhere useful
We do not send every old address to the homepage. Each old address goes to its closest relevant new page. When pages are merged, the address goes to the combined page. When a page goes with no useful equivalent, it can show a "gone" message (404 or 410).
Before launch, we check that old addresses reach the right new page, and that links and the sitemap agree with the new structure.
Rankings and demand can change after any redesign. Planning reduces avoidable losses. It cannot guarantee unchanged traffic.
| Old address | New page | Action |
|---|---|---|
| A page you keep | Its closest relevant new page | Retain |
| A page that is merged | The combined page | 301 redirect |
| A page with no useful equivalent | A "gone" message | 410 |
What you receive
- A redesigned website, built to the agreed scope
- A page plan showing what stays, changes, merges or goes
- A map of every old address and where it now leads
- A record of today's key numbers, to compare after launch
Before launch, we check that old addresses reach the right page. We also check key pages, forms, search settings and the final content and links.
Want search watched after the move? That can be agreed separately, with what is checked, by whom and until when.

It starts with a short form about your business.
You own your website, and you can leave with all of it

Your domain, your accounts, every file and every login are yours. Hosting and Shopify accounts are in your name, and we work in them as collaborators.
Agreed before work starts: your quote, built from the pages, content, features and launch work your project needs. Your scope in writing. Two rounds of design changes, and any further round is agreed with you first. You change text and images in your Content Management System (CMS). You can start small and add to the website later.
Care after launch is only if you want it. Updates, backups, security and renewals are not included unless we agree them. Website care
Four steps, each one approved by you
Understand. We look at your site, who buys from you and what it must achieve. You receive your scope and quote.

Plan. Every page and old address gets a decision. You review before design starts. You receive a page plan and an address map.

Design and build. You review the design and send final facts and images. Then we build.

Launch and hand over. We run the launch checks and hand over once you approve the launch. You receive the finished website, CMS access and documentation.

Questions owners ask about redesign
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
Traffic can move after any redesign, and no one can guarantee otherwise. What we control: we plan every old page and address before launch and check the redirects.
Redesigning without losing search trafficDo you send every old address to the homepage?
No. Each old address goes to its closest relevant new page, and a page with no useful equivalent can show a 404 or 410 message.
What do you look at first?
We find what is holding the site back before we choose a look. An unclear offer, a broken form and weak measurement each need a different fix.
Why your website is not bringing in enquiriesCan I keep the pages I like?
Yes. Every page is kept, improved, merged or retired, and you agree the plan first.
Planning a website redesignCan you move my shop to Shopify as part of a redesign?
Yes. The same page plan and address map cover the move, and we list pages, apps, reviews and tracking first.
Shopify storesHow will I know if it worked?
We record today's key numbers before launch so you can compare after. No one can promise a result.
Traffic dropped after a redesignWho owns the new website?
You do: the domain, the accounts, the files and the logins, and you can leave at any time.

What should the new site keep, and what should it change?
Share your current website and tell us what is not working. A few sentences is enough.
