Ecommerce website design, planned around how people buy

People look at your products and leave without buying? We plan collections, filters, product pages, cart and checkout around what shoppers check before they pay, then design and build your shop.

A written scope and quote before you commit. Your domain and accounts in your name.

For shop owners starting out or moving platform, who will run the shop day to day.

When shoppers leave without buying

  • They cannot tell what is in it.

Missing ingredients, sizes, dimensions or delivery details leave shoppers guessing, so they go elsewhere.

  • They cannot find it.

Collections and filters that follow your stock list, not the way people choose, bury the right product.

  • They stall at checkout.

An unclear cart or a surprise at the last step ends the order.

Built for owners who will run the shop

We choose the platform with you, then plan how people buy

We choose the platform with you and write down the running costs first. Then we plan collections, filters, product pages, cart and checkout around what shoppers check before they pay.

  1. Platform and running costs.

We choose the platform with you, and write down the trade-offs and the ongoing costs before you commit.

Shopify, WooCommerce or custom: choosing an ecommerce platform
  2. Product facts where shoppers decide.

What is in it, what size, how it arrives, how it is looked after. Your product data, stock and order handling must agree with what the shop says.

What makes an ecommerce product page useful
  3. Collections that make sense.

Menus, filters and categories that follow how people choose.

Ecommerce category pages: what shoppers need before they open a product
  4. A clear cart and checkout.

Fewer steps and no surprises before payment.

Checkout and abandoned carts: what stops shoppers from paying
Discuss your project

Tell us about your project, and we reply with next steps. No cost, no obligation. It starts with a short form about your business.

What you receive

  • Platform advice with the trade-offs in writing
  • On Shopify: theme code, sections your team can edit, and an app list
  • Designed collections, product pages, cart and checkout
  • Redirects, so old product addresses lead to the new pages

Tested before launch. We place test orders through to payment and the confirmation email. Moving a store? We first list its pages, apps, reviews and tracking, then check every old product address reaches its new page.

Payment and platform capabilities are confirmed in your scope.

You own your shop,
and you can leave with all of it

Nothing is held back. Your domain, your accounts, every file and every login are yours.

Leaving.
You can leave at any time and take everything with you.

Agreed before work starts

  • Your quote and scope. Built from the pages, products, features, integrations and launch work your project needs. You agree the scope in writing first. Work starts only after that. You can start small: fewer products and features now, more later.
  • Two rounds of design changes. Any further round is agreed with you, in writing, before the work starts.
  • Your content, yours to edit. You change products, text and images in your Content Management System (CMS).
  • Care after launch, only if you want it. Updates, backups, security and renewals are not included unless we agree them. Watching search and orders after a move can be agreed separately, with what is checked, by whom and until when.
  • Never promised: rankings, traffic or sales figures, or a date for results.
  • Third-party platform, app, plan and payment terms keep their own terms, and we list each one.

What does an online shop cost?

You receive a written quote before you commit, built from the pages, products, features, integrations and launch work your project needs. You can start small and add to the shop later. What affects the cost of a website

Shopify, WooCommerce or custom?

We choose with you, based on how you sell and what you will run day to day, and we write down the trade-offs and running costs first. If a simple builder is enough for you, we will say so. Shopify, WooCommerce or custom: choosing an ecommerce platform

Can I manage the products myself?

Yes. You add and change products, text and images in your Content Management System (CMS). Bigger changes can be agreed with us.

Will moving my shop hurt my search results?

Traffic can move after any move, and no one can guarantee otherwise. What we control: we list your pages, apps, reviews and tracking first, and check that every old product address reaches its new page before launch. Moving to Shopify from Wix, WooCommerce or Squarespace without losing search traffic

Who owns the shop, and can I leave?

You do, and you can leave at any time with your files and logins. Your domain and accounts are in your name. Platform, app, plan and payment terms stay with each company.

How long will it take?

We agree the timing with you before you commit, based on scope, products and review stages.

What do you sell, and how do you want to sell it?

Tell us what you sell, share your current shop if you have one, and say what you want to change. A few sentences is enough.
