Website analytics agencies and specialists: compare setup, testing and handover
By Studio Swing | Provider information reviewed 25 October 2026
On this page
Studio Swing publishes this comparison and sells website analytics setup. We describe our offer first to make that interest clear. The order is not a ranking. The shortlist uses providers' public service descriptions. We have not commissioned these firms, inspected their client implementations or independently verified their results.
If your reports do not explain what the website produces, you may need someone to repair the measurement before you need another dashboard. Choosing that person means deciding who will define the events, implement them, check them and explain the remaining gaps.
This comparison covers Studio Swing, Analytics Mania and Seer Interactive. Each documents analytics implementation. It does not treat every SEO or AI-search agency as an analytics implementer. A search audit, a citation report and a tested Google Analytics setup are different purchases.
Which provider belongs on your shortlist?
| Provider | A reason to consider it | Check before commissioning |
|---|---|---|
| Studio Swing | A bounded website measurement plan, setup and testing around agreed actions and accepted enquiries | Exact events, consent assumptions, deduplication tests and reporting scope |
| Analytics Mania | Hands-on Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementation | Developer dependencies, acceptance tests and handover |
| Seer Interactive | Analytics implementation together with broader data strategy, reporting and training | Which infrastructure and implementation are included, with ownership and continuing responsibilities |
This is a small shortlist of delivery models, not an exhaustive market ranking. We did not establish comparable implementation fees or current availability. Request a written scope for the actual website and systems involved.
Studio Swing: a defined setup for website enquiries
Our analytics service starts by agreeing which actions matter and what counts as an enquiry. The offer includes a measurement plan, a tested setup in Google Analytics and Search Console, and a report on the agreed measures. We can scope this for a website we build or one you already have.
We distinguish a service-page visit, a form start and an accepted enquiry. An accepted enquiry means the form accepted it. It does not mean the enquiry was qualified, reached an inbox, became a booking or produced revenue. Which enquiries become work stays in your own enquiry record.
Our published scope includes testing each agreed action and checking that it is not counted twice. It keeps names, emails and message text out of analytics and addresses consent where required. These are delivery commitments to define and verify in the project, not claims of measured results across past clients.
You receive the scope and quote before work starts. Our ownership commitment gives you your domain, accounts, files and logins, subject to third-party terms. Ongoing reporting is agreed separately; it is not automatically a monthly service included with setup.
We have not established an enterprise data warehouse, CRM integration or offline-revenue reconciliation as part of this current offer. If those are requirements, name them before comparing proposals. Our original concepts demonstrate design thinking, not functioning analytics implementations or client outcomes.
Consider us when: you need a small set of useful website actions defined, implemented and tested, with the gaps explained.
Ask us: what event proves acceptance, how do you test retries and duplicates, and what evidence and access will we receive?
Analytics Mania: hands-on GA and GTM implementation
Analytics Mania describes a measurement plan, a tagging implementation plan, implementation and testing. The service includes event and ecommerce tracking, cross-domain work, data-layer support and tasks for developers where their involvement is needed. Analytics Mania implementation service.
Its service routes distinguish new implementation, an audit and troubleshooting. Choose the route that matches the work: a short troubleshooting engagement should not be assumed to include redesigning the entire measurement plan.
Consider Analytics Mania when: the main problem is instrumentation in Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager and you want a specialist to implement the setup.
Ask Analytics Mania: which changes require our developers, how will the events be validated, and what will our team receive at handover?
Seer Interactive: implementation within a broader analytics program
Seer's analytics offer includes implementations, reporting and visualization, strategy, audits, training and consent solutions. Seer analytics services.
This makes it a candidate where the problem extends beyond a few website events into wider data infrastructure, reporting or team capability. That breadth is a reason to examine the scope carefully. Establish which work is included, which systems it covers and who will maintain it after setup.
Consider Seer when: implementation needs to sit alongside broader analytics strategy and reporting across a team.
Ask Seer: which systems and tests are included, how will you document the setup, and who owns the accounts, dashboards and continuing maintenance?
A fictional equipment supplier with unreliable enquiry counts
Imagine a fictional supplier that receives quote requests through its website. Its dashboard records a conversion when someone clicks Submit. The form can reject incomplete requests, visitors sometimes retry and the sales team keeps its own spreadsheet of enquiries. Dashboard totals and sales records do not agree.
The supplier wants three questions answered: how many requests the form accepts, where measurable visits came from and which accepted requests later become useful sales conversations. This is an illustration, not an inspected client implementation.
The brief should separate those questions:
| Requirement | What the implementation proposal should establish |
|---|---|
| Count accepted requests | The application event or response that confirms acceptance, rather than the button click |
| Avoid duplicate counts | What happens on a retry, double-click, repeated response or confirmation-page revisit |
| Keep personal details out of analytics | Which fields and parameters are permitted, including URLs and page titles |
| Respect consent choices | Which tags run in each agreed state and what data remains unavailable |
| Understand sources | Which attribution information can be observed and where it is incomplete |
| Understand lead quality | A separate sales-record process, or a separately scoped integration |
Studio Swing's bounded accepted-enquiry setup is relevant to the first rows if the website can expose the necessary acceptance signal. Analytics Mania's implementation offer deserves examination where tagging and developer coordination are the main work. Seer's broader analytics scope is worth comparing if the supplier needs several systems and reporting responsibilities coordinated.
None of these fit judgments proves that a specific retry strategy, CRM integration or consent configuration is included. Put those requirements in the same brief sent to every candidate.
Ask to see the tests, not just a dashboard
For the fictional supplier, an acceptance check could include a valid request, an invalid request, a network failure and a retry. Add a duplicate interaction and revisit the confirmation page. Ask what should be recorded in each case and how the implementation will demonstrate it. These are proposed buyer acceptance cases, not tests performed on the providers.
A useful handover explains the event names, triggers, permitted parameters and business meanings. It identifies the accounts, tag containers, custom code and reports involved. It also names the person responsible when the form or website changes.
Google's enhanced-measurement documentation describes automatic interaction events and their configuration. An interaction event is not evidence by itself that the application accepted a business enquiry. The acceptance definition needs its own implementation and test.
Personal-data checks should cover more than explicit form fields. Google's PII-prevention guidance also addresses leakage through URLs and page titles. Ask the implementer which requests and parameters will be inspected, and what happens if the site's URLs contain user information.
Keep attribution, qualification and reporting separate
A report can only explain what the setup and available data support. Consent choices, blockers and differences between tools can leave gaps. A provider should tell you what is missing before you use the numbers to change your marketing budget.
Search Console and Analytics answer different questions. Do not assume the tools provide a complete link from an individual Google query to a named enquiry. Ask which comparisons are aggregate and which connections, if any, are actually implemented. Our Analytics and Search Console guide explains their roles.
Lead quality is a further step. A request accepted by the website may be irrelevant, duplicated in the sales process or never become work. Decide where the sales team records that outcome and whether connecting it to website measurement belongs in this project. Do not quietly add personal information to analytics to make a report appear complete.
Finally, distinguish setup from continuing analysis. Ask whether the price includes a handover report, scheduled reporting, investigation of changes, or decisions about what to improve. Our monthly reporting guide can help define the latter job.
Send candidates a measurement brief
Describe the website, the actions that matter and why the present numbers are unreliable. Name the form or checkout system, existing analytics access, available developer support and any systems that must connect. State whether the goal is accepted-enquiry counts, ecommerce events, reporting, sales qualification or several of these.
Ask each candidate to separate discovery, implementation, testing, documentation, software costs and continuing work. Confirm account ownership, access roles, exportable materials and what remains usable if you change providers. Where a public service page leaves these terms unclear, the right next step is a written answer, not an assumption.
If you need a bounded website measurement setup, tell us what your website should produce and what the current reports leave unclear. We will agree the actions and scope before setting them up.
