B2B website providers for manufacturers and suppliers: compare catalogue and RFQ scope
By Studio Swing | Provider information reviewed 25 October 2026
Studio Swing publishes this comparison and sells B2B website design. We appear first to make that interest clear. Presentation order is not a ranking. The other providers follow alphabetically. We describe stated services, not independently tested delivery or client results.
A manufacturer’s website needs to help someone specify a product. A buyer may arrive with a part number, compare pressure ratings, download a drawing and ask for a price on several items. The provider you choose needs to understand that sequence as well as the company’s marketing pages.
This comparison covers Studio Swing, Thomas and Weidert Group. Each has a relevant stated offer, but the evidence supports different reasons to investigate them. A general B2B marketing offer alone does not establish a technical catalogue, quote basket or integration with a stock system.
Choose for the buying task
| Provider | Reason to investigate | Resolve in the proposal |
|---|---|---|
| Studio Swing | Product records, specification pages, downloads and a quote-request journey | Data preparation, catalogue features, integrations and optional care |
| Thomas | Industrial website services and documented product-catalogue functionality | Current catalogue availability, modules, migration, licences and export |
| Weidert Group | Industrial website strategy with custom development and CRM integration | Technical catalogue requirements, CRM boundaries and ongoing responsibilities |
These are possible fits, not verified proposals. Geography, availability, contractual terms and the specific people responsible for your project need confirmation.
Studio Swing: a scoped catalogue and quote-request website
Our B2B website service starts with how you keep product information today. We plan product families and variants, agree attribute names and units, and put specifications, documents and the quote request together. The offer includes specification tables that read on a phone and a quote form carrying product details.
We agree who supplies and maintains the data. Trade pricing, stock and integrations are discussed before the scope is settled. Their inclusion depends on the project; they are not automatic features of every catalogue build.
You receive a written scope and quote. Your domain and accounts are in your name, and files and logins are handed over. Third-party licences retain their own terms. Care after launch is separately agreed.
Our launch commitment includes sending a test quote request and checking receipt with the product named. That is our stated delivery process, not a claim of independently measured results across past projects. Our original concepts are fictional design studies, not completed industrial client catalogues or evidence of increased RFQs.
Consider us when: you want the product information and enquiry journey planned together, with a written scope and handover.
Ask us: what will we build from your current spreadsheet, which records need work first, and which product-to-enquiry checks will you inspect before launch?
Thomas: industrial websites and product-catalogue tools
Thomas explicitly offers manufacturing website design and development. Its Catalog Navigator documentation describes product-line tables, part-number attributes, specification search, item details and attached downloads. That is directly relevant to buyers comparing technical products.
The documentation distinguishes a request for information from the quote and cart actions available when ecommerce is enabled. Establish which product and modules a current proposal includes. A feature in platform documentation does not establish that it comes with every website engagement.
Consider Thomas when: structured product discovery is central to your website and you want to investigate an industrial-focused provider with documented catalogue tools.
Ask: how will the current catalogue service import your records, handle missing attributes, attach documents and export your data if you leave? Also establish licences, integration boundaries and responsibility for changes after launch. We have not established a comparable fixed package price or care SLA from the reviewed sources.
Weidert Group: an industrial website connected to marketing and sales
Weidert Group positions itself around industrial marketing and sales. Its website service pricing description includes strategy, UX, custom development and CRM integration, with ongoing performance work described as part of its approach.
That makes it worth investigating when the website belongs inside a wider lead-generation and sales process. Its industrial focus does not, by itself, establish a specification database, CAD library, multi-product RFQ or customer-specific pricing system. Put those requirements in the brief.
Consider Weidert Group when: you need an industrial website alongside marketing strategy and CRM work.
Ask: which catalogue and enquiry functions are included, what connects to the CRM, and which systems remain your responsibility? Its published website range is scope-dependent; compare a written proposal rather than treating it as a standard package. Backup, restoration, ownership and support terms also need confirmation.
Compare them using one product family
Consider a fictional fittings distributor with 1,800 spreadsheet records across six families. Buyers need to compare material, connection, size and pressure, download the right datasheet and request a quote for three products with quantities. Prices depend on the job, so checkout is outside the initial scope.
Give every shortlisted provider the same small specimen: a dozen records, two datasheets and an explanation of who answers requests. Ask for an account of how the proposed site would handle it. This is a procurement exercise you can commission; we have not submitted this fictional brief to the providers or received proposals.
| Requirement | Evidence to request |
|---|---|
| Consistent product attributes | A mapping from source columns to fields, including missing values and units |
| Useful phone comparison | A proposed listing and specification view using the specimen |
| Correct documents | A rule for attaching and replacing datasheets and drawings |
| One RFQ for several items | The intended quantity, product identifier and routing fields |
| Ongoing control | Data export, editing access and named responsibility for updates |
A product count alone says little about the work. Cleaning inconsistent units, deciding which variants deserve pages and connecting old systems can change the scope substantially. Keep data preparation, website development and integration work visible as separate responsibilities.
Decide what you need now
A small product range may need straightforward product pages and an enquiry form. A complex distributor catalogue may need filtering, compatibility data, trade accounts and a managed data source. Commission the discovery needed to distinguish those situations before comparing headline prices.
Our guide to putting a B2B product catalogue online explains the data and page decisions in more detail. Use it to prepare a comparable brief, then choose the provider whose proposed responsibilities fit the actual buying task.
If you want Studio Swing to scope that work, bring your product list, current documents and the questions buyers ask. Discuss your project.
